8th Grade Solo

When I was in 8th grade, I was asked to do a solo. The song was,The lone wild bird. It was a beautiful song. I had the smaller part because the ninth grader wanted the bigger part. It was okay with me. I wanted less to have to learn. I really enjoyed singing this song. i was not too popular in school,so when I sang this solo, I was surprised to see so many kids coming up to me and praising me for my solo. It shocked me,actually. this turned out to be one of my Dad’s favorite songs. He wanted it sung at his memorial service for when the time came. I did sing this for him.

Rude drivers

There are too many rude drivers in this world. Some drivers like to pass you, then they slow down. You need to keep up a good speed if you are going to pass people. Tailgaters suck also. You do not need to ride someone’s tail. This can cause road rge. I some times wonder if there is a gumball machine filled with driver’s licenses. Rude people on the road are unnecessary. I guess if they are rude in life, they continue this on the road as well. I have seen many rude drivers. They do not signal when they change lanes. Rude drivers need to go.

Boring Market day

It was boring at the Flea market the other day. There were mostly browsers. I guess tha is what the majority are though. They like things, but you can not buy every thing just because you like it. Time passes slowly when you are not busy. I walked around with Brandie. Chip visited a couple of vendor friends also. We have met some nice people working there. I just wish it was busier withn buyers, not just browsers.

Birthday parties

Birthday parties are fun. There are many

different types. There are parties for kids

as well as adults. Some of the kids parties take

place at a bowling alley, or a McDonald’s, maybe

an amusement park. There are lots of choices.

These parties are quite pricey. You have to go

where you can afford to. There are lots of

home parties. You have such a wide selection

of options. I have been to a farm before for one

of my nephews. The kids enjoyed petting the

animals. Home parties can be nice too. The

clean up isn’t fun, but as long as your child

enjoys it. It is nice to go to a party and just be

a guest and some one else taking care of things.

Adult parties usually entail going out with

family and/or friends to a restaurant and a club.

Home, family dinners are a big thing also.

Favorite November day

My favorite day in November is my birthday.

I know some people want to forget, but I think it is a day

to celebrate with family and friends. It is important.

If you do not take care of yourself, I might

understand because you don’t feel like celebrating.

Age is just a number. I know as you get older,

you feel differently. You are more tired. I know

people much older than I am who are in great shape.

It is in how you take care of yourself. Things do

to the healthy as well though. I will enjoy My

Birhdays as long as I can.
